The content of this website is general information about visa and immigration processes. It is not legal advice and it does not take your personal circumstances into account. You should not act, or decide not to act, based only on what you read here. Advice specific to your situation is given only after a consultation and a review of your documents.
3. No guarantee of a visa outcome
Visa and immigration decisions are made by government departments and embassies, not by us. No consultant or lawyer can guarantee that an application will be approved, or that it will be decided within a particular time. We can only prepare and present your application carefully, accurately and professionally. Any timeframes mentioned are estimates based on published processing times, which change without notice.
4. Accepting a case
We assess every matter before accepting it. We may decline a case, and we will tell you if we believe an application has little prospect of success. A client relationship begins only when we confirm in writing that we are acting for you and the agreed fee arrangement is in place.
5. Your responsibilities
- Give us complete, accurate and truthful information and documents.
- Tell us promptly if your circumstances change.
- Respond to our requests in time, since immigration deadlines are strict.
We are not responsible for the consequences of information that is withheld, inaccurate or false. Providing false documents to an immigration authority is a serious offence and we will not assist with it.
6. Fees
Our fees depend on the type of visa and the work involved, and are quoted in writing before work begins. Government application charges, medical examinations, English tests, skills assessments and translation costs are paid separately by you and are not included in our fee unless stated. Government charges are generally not refundable if an application is refused.
7. Third party websites
This website may link to other websites, such as government or review platforms. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
8. Intellectual property
The text, images, logo and design of this website belong to EVS Expert and may not be copied or reused without written permission.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website. Nothing in these terms excludes any right or guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction over any dispute.
